TONIGHT'S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE
Courtney Vandersloot and Allie Quigley put on dominant offensive performances, combining for over half of the Sky's points in a high-scoring affair. Allie Quigley tied her season-high 27 points, knocking down four from behind the arc. Vandersloot was just a point off her career-high (28 against LAS on 5/30/2021).
The Sky saw four players (forward Kahleah Copper, center Stefanie Dolson, guard Allie Quigley and Courtney Vandersloot) notch at least 10 points apiece.
Saturday's matchup between the Sky and the Lynx saw a special reunion of two coaches. Before assuming the Sky head coaching position, James Wades was an assistant for two years under Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve.
After tonight's loss, the Sky head on the road for five away games, returning to Wintrust on Sept. 5 to face Las Vegas.
NEXT UP: The Chicago Sky (11-12) will take to the road and face the Atlanta Dream (6-17) on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Gateway Center Arena. Sky fans can catch tip-off, which is set for 6:00 p.m. CT., by tuning in to The U/ ESPN3.
