Notes & Quotes: Sky Wins Fifth Straight; Moves to No. 5 in WNBA Standings

TODAY'S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE

* Chicago picked up its fifth consecutive victory, a feat that has only been achieved three times in franchise history. There has only been one winning streak that has ended at five games for the Sky (July 7-July 20, 2013). Chicago has two six-game winning streaks in its 15 seasons (May 30-July 13, 2012 & August 15-31, 2013).

* For the 62nd time in her career, Courtney Vandersloot notched double digit assists (11).

* Guard Allie Quigley surpassed Sylvia Fowles for the most double figure scoring games in franchise history. Quigley has now scored at least 10 points 160 times in a Sky uniform.

NEXT UP: The Sky (7-7) begins a five-game road trip on Tuesday, June 22 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. to take on the New York Liberty (6-6) at 6:00p CT. Sky fans can tune into WCIU The U or stream via Amazon Prime Video to follow the action. New York is coming off a 76-103 loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday, June 17. It is finishing a four-game West Coast road trip with its matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks tomorrow, June 20. Chicago and New York will conclude their regular season series with another game from Brooklyn on Thursday, June 24.
