Wheeling Nailers News Release
Wheeling, WV. - The Wheeling Nailers have advanced to the North Division Finals for the first time since 1998. Wheeling dispatched Reading in four games winning last night, 5-4 in Reading. The Nailers will take on Toledo who swept Johnstown in three games.
The best-of-five series will open at the Toledo Sports Arena with the Storm having home-ice advantage after winning the regular season North Division Title. Games One and Two are on Monday and Wednesday, Apr. 24 and 26, with the face-off at 7:35 p.m. both nights. The series then shifts to WesBanco Arena in Wheeling for the weekend. The entire series schedule is as follows:
Game One: Monday, Apr. 24 @ Toledo, 7:05 p.m.
Game Two: Wednesday, Apr. 26 @ Toledo, 7:05 p.m.
Game Three: Friday, Apr. 28 @ Wheeling, 7:35 p.m. (Home Game C)
Game Four: Saturday, Apr. 29 @ Wheeling, 1:05 p.m.* (Home Game D)
Game Five: Tuesday, May. 2 @ Toledo, 7:05 p.m.*

The winner of the Nailers-Storm series will face the winner of the South Division Champion for the American Conference Championship.
During the regular season the Nailers posted a 5-7-1 record against Toledo. Wheeling was 3-3-0 at home and 2-4-1 in Toledo. Wheeling finished a point behind Toledo for the top spot in the North. Wheeling and Toledo have met in three previous playoff series including the 1993 Riley Cup Final.
The Kelly Cup Playoffs are brought to you in part by McCann Distributing, Generations and Jack FM. Every home game gets started with a Wheeling Nailers tailgate party one hour prior to face-off. Food drinks, and entertainment will be provided outside of the arena.
Individual playoff tickets for Games Three and Four are on sale now at the Nailers office with prices beginning as low as $ 8 for kids 17 and under. Playoff packages are also on sale (the remaining balance from any home games not played may be applied toward 2006-07 season tickets or refunded) through the Nailers offices.
