
Drew off to Grand Rapids

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that goaltender Drew MacIntyre has been recalled by the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League, while goaltender Logan Koopmans is reassigned to Toledo.
Drew just led Toledo to a 3 game sweep of Johnstown in ECHL North Division Quarterfinals last night. With Toledo in the regular season, MacIntyre had a 24-7-3 record to go with a 2.06 goals against average and a .926 save percentage. Drew set new goaltending records with his GAA and SVP. MacIntyre, a 2001 selection of the Detroit Red Wings, had two shutouts this season with the Storm. Drew was named RBK Hockey ECHL goaltender of the week for 3/13 - 3/19, and RBC Financial Group ECHL Goaltender of March. With the Rapids this season, Drew had a 8-4-0 record to go with a 2.91 GAA, and a .897 SVP.
Logan appeared in just one game with Grand Rapids since his recall on April 6th. Koopmans was 0-1 with a 7.54 GAA and a .722 SVP. Koopmans made his return to the Storm roster on March 24th against Dayton in a 4-2 win after missing three and half months due to an injured shoulder. With the Storm this season, Koopmans had a record of 7-2-2, a 2.93 GAA and a .912 SVP.
