
Norrie Signs with Hurricanes

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Tuesday that they have signed 2007-born forward Cameron Norrie to a Western Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Norrie, 16, was undrafted in the WHL Prospects Draft, but listed by the Hurricanes. The Kelowna, BC, product recorded 34 points (16g-18a) along with 20 penalty minutes during the 2023-2024 regular season with the Kelowna RINK Hockey Academy U18 team in the CSSHL. He added five points (1g-4a) along with four penalty minutes in four post-season games. Norrie finished the regular season tied for fourth in team scoring while finishing fourth in playoff scoring.
The 6'1, 181-pound forward collected four assists in five games at the 2023-2024 Circle-K Classic in Calgary helping RINK Kelowna post a 2-1-1-0 record during the round robin before falling in the semi-finals. In 2022-2023, Norrie appeared in 23 regular season games totaling 38 points (15g-23a) along with four penalty minutes with the Okanagan Hockey Academy U16 Prep team.
Norrie becomes the sixth 2007-born player to sign with the Hurricanes, including Will Sharpe, Kash Andresen, Koen Cleaver, Carson Adair and Owen Nelson.
