Frisco RoughRiders News Release
FRISCO, Texas - The Texas Rangers announced Monday that outfielder Nomar Mazara is scheduled to join the Frisco RoughRiders on a Major League rehabilitation assignment Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
Mazara has been on the DL since July 17 with a right thumb sprain. Prior to the injury, he was hitting .272 with 15 home runs and 58 RBIs in a Rangers uniform. In addition to Mazara's scheduled appearance, Tuesday's game is also a Taco Tuesday at Dr Pepper Ballpark, featuring $2 tacos all game long, $2 selected beers from 6-8 p.m. and half-price margaritas from 6-8 p.m. Tickets for Tuesday's game and all remaining home games at Dr Pepper Ballpark are available by visiting RidersBaseball.com, calling (972) 731-9200 or stopping by the Dr Pepper Ballpark box office.
