Rome, GA - The Rome Braves fell to Asheville Sunday evening after the Tourists hit two homers in the ninth inning to overtake the Braves 7-5. Asheville was the first to score in the fourth inning as Harold Riggins led off with a single and scored on an RBI double by Will Swanner to take a 1-0 lead. They would add two more runs the next inning on a two RBI double by Sam Mende to increase their advantage 3-0. In the fifth the Braves would cut the score 3-2 as Tony Mueller doubled, stole third and scored on a throwing error by the Asheville catcher.
