Nine In A Row for Odessa After 6-2 Win

(Odessa, TX) - Kory Karlander scored a pair of goals on Friday as the Jackalopes won their CHL-best, ninth consecutive game over the Tulsa Oilers at the Ector County Coliseum. 6-2 was the final score.

The Jacks opened up the game with five goals in the first two periods. Four the goals came on the power play. Dominic Leveille opened up the scoring at 5:41 of the first period on assists from Kory Karlander and Mike Ramsay. Mike Ramsay then made it a 2-0 lead with a power play goal at 9:37. Leveille and Brian Swiniarski had the assists.

In the second, Odessa received goals from Karlander, Sebastien Thinel, and Swiniarski. Tulsa's Brendan Hodge and Peter Kennedy added Oiler goals in the third.

The Jacks continue their "three-in-three" weekend Saturday night at the Ector County Coliseum against the Laredo Bucks. Game time is 7:05 PM between the top two teams in the CHL's Southern Conference.
