ODESSA, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League look to get back into the win column Saturday when they travel to take on the Odessa Jackalopes at the Ector County Coliseum.

The Bucks come into Saturday's game having earned points in 12 of their last 13 games (11-1-1).
Laredo and Odessa will battle for first place in the Southern Conference Saturday night, with each team on quite a tear as of late.
The Bucks picked up a point in Thursday's 2-1 shootout loss to Corpus Christi, where Rookie goaltender Ryan Gibb stopped 47 of 48 Ice Rays shots in defeat.
Ryan Salvis scored the Bucks lone goal on Thursday, giving him three goals in his last two games.
Jeff Bes (8-32=40) and Darryl Smith (17-16-33) continue to lead the CHL in scoring, with Odessa's Dominic Leveille (8-23=31) right behind the Laredo duo.
Laredo fell to Odessa 5-2 on November 6th in the teams first meeting of the season at the LEC. The âJacks scored three third period goals to pick up the win in Laredo.
Laredo will return to the LEC next weekend, when they host Rio Grande Valley on December 19 for Posada Night, and Corpus Christi on Saturday for their Holiday Jersey Auction.
