Amarillo, TX 10/28/09 - Amarillo Gorillas forward David Nimmo was placed on the 14-day injured reserve, the team announced Wednesday.
Nimmo earned 2 goals and 4 assists through 5 games this season. The St. Albert, Alberta native was stellar in his first season with Amarillo in 07-08, racking up 41 goals and 43 assists en route to the Central Hockey League's "Rookie of the Year" award.
The Gorillas will begin a South Texas road trip beginning next weekend, as they take the ice in Laredo Friday, October 30th at 7:30pm (CHL-TV broadcast only) and in Rio Grande Valley Saturday, October 31st at 1pm (1440 AM ESPN Radio & CHL-TV beginning at 12:55pm CST).
Single-game tickets on the front row may be purchased for $24 each, row two and up will be sold for $16 a piece, while children ages 15 and under will cost only $8.
