Nick Holden and Tom Sestito to Miss 3-5 Weeks Each with Injuries

Syracuse, NY (January 27, 2009) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that defenseman Nick Holden and left wing Tom Sestito will both miss 3-5 weeks with injuries they sustained during the Crunch's January 24 game vs. Manitoba.

Holden sustained a leg injury while Sestito suffered a shoulder injury. Both players left the game and did not return.

Holden, 21, has appeared in 34 games for the Crunch this season, posting six assists. A native of St. Albert, Alberta, Holden was signed by Columbus as a free agent on March 28, 2008.

Sestito, 21, has skated in 31 games for the Crunch this year, tallying seven goals, eight assists and 117 penalty minutes. A native of Rome, NY, Sestito was drafted by Columbus in the third round, 85th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
