Stars Assign Brunnstrom to Moose

The Manitoba Moose, in conjunction with the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today the Stars have sent forward Fabian Brunnstrom to the Manitoba Moose.

Brunnstrom, 23, has appeared in 31 games this season with the Stars where he has scored 14 points (10-4-14), and two penalty minutes. The Jonstrop, Sweden native scored his first career NHL hat trick in his very first NHL game on Oct. 15/08 vs Nashville. He scored the game winning goal, and added an assist Dec. 23/08 at Toronto. Brunnstrom also scored game winning goals Dec. 2/08 at Calgary and Dec. 12/08 vs Detroit.

Last season Brunnstrom played in 54 games with Farjestads BK Karlstad of the SEL, scoring 37 points (9-28-37) and 16 penalty minutes.
