Montreal Alouettes News Release
Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced on Thursday that the club has extended American tackle Nick Callender's contract through 2024.
Callender (6'6", 321 lbs.) played 16 of the Alouettes 18 games in 2022 with an offensive line that helped quarterback Trevor Harris throw for 4,157 yards, which was the second highest total in the CFL. He and his squad also helped quarterback Dominique Davis score 13 rushing touchdowns, the second highest total in the league.
He has played in 21 games for the Alouettes since 2021.
The former Colorado State University Ram was also part of the Indianapolis Colts and the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL.
"Nick is an extremely physical player who makes the opposition pay for every inch they try to gain," said Alouettes General Manager Danny Maciocia. "He quickly learned our playbook and adds very good depth to our offensive line."
