New York Red Bulls News Release
HARRISON, N.J. - Following back-to-back 4-1 victories and winners of three of their last four, the New York Red Bulls (6-6-2, 20 pts) travel back to Florida on Saturday for the second time in 10 days to face Orlando City SC (7-2-5, 26 pts). Saturday's kickoff at Exploria Stadium is set for 4:30 p.m. with coverage on FOX, FOX Sports Go and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.
New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 3:30 p.m. EST with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 4 p.m.
Saturday's matchup between New York and Orlando delivers two teams in good form as the Red Bulls have won three of their last four matches, including back-to-back 4-1 victories, while Orlando is unbeaten in their last eight games at 5-0-3. New York travels to Exploria Stadium unbeaten on the road in their last three matches (2-0-1) and outscoring their opponents, 7-2. Orlando City has not lost at home in 2020, owning a 4-0-1 mark and outscoring their opponents, 10-4.
New York continues to see offensive production from all over the field, from striker to defenders. The Red Bulls have seen seven different goal scorers in the last four matches, including three from the striker position by Tom Barlow (2) and Brian White. Austrian winger Daniel Royer has led the offensive charge with three goals and two assists in the last four games.
The Red Bulls record in 2020 has been a result of "all or nothing" when it comes to the scoreboard. New York owns a 6-0-2 mark when the team scores at least one goal in the contest, while recording a 0-6-0 record when being held scoreless. The Red Bulls are tied-for seventh in MLS in least points dropped from a winning position with four, having scored first on the road against Real Salt Lake and New England but finishing in a draw.
New York breaks up their three road matches in an 11-day span with a home game against Inter Miami on Wednesday, October 7. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. with coverage on MSG and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish.
