BRIDGEVIEW, IL - The New York Red Bulls fell 1-0 at Toyota Park on Sunday night and saw their three-game unbeaten streak come to an end. With the loss, the Red Bulls moved to 6-7-10 with 28 points. Despite the loss, the Red Bulls remained in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with 11 regular-season games remaining.

The Red Bulls enter a bye week following tonight's match in Chicago. New York returns to action on August 23 when the team hosts the Montreal Impact at Red Bull Arena at 7:00 PM. Tickets are on sale now for the Red Bulls' next MLS home game against the Impact by calling 1.877.727.6223 or logging onto tickets.newyorkredbulls.com.

Luis Robles made the initial save on a Mike Magee penalty kick attempt in the 38th minute, but the rebound fell right to the forward who finished the chance for his team-leading seventh goal of the season. Magee's penalty kick was the ninth faced by Robles this season. He has saved two.

Thierry Henry nearly pulled the Red Bulls level in the 41st minute with a right-footed volley from just outside Chicago's 18-yard-box. Eric Alexander headed a pass to Henry, but the captain's shot sailed just high as Chicago took a 1-0 lead into the break.

Alexander had two good chances for the Red Bulls in the second half, but could not convert either one. The midfielder ran onto a pass from Henry just outside the 18-yard-box and ripped a right-footed shot on frame, but Sean Johnson made the save.

Alexander then collected a headed pass from Cahill in the 60th minute but his right footed shot was saved again by Johnson, this time denying the midfielder at the near post.

Bradley Wright-Phillips had a great chance in the 64th minute to pull his team level, but Johnson was again up to the task. Tim Cahill played Wright-Phillips in and behind the back line with a through ball over the top. The league-leading scorer took a touch and ripped a right-footed shot but Johnson got his left hand to it and made the save.
