Houston Dynamo Visit Seattle Sounders FC Tonight at CenturyLink

HOUSTON (Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014) - The Houston Dynamo face Seattle Sounders FC at 9:30 p.m. CT tonight at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. Tonight is Houston's final game against a Western Conference foe this regular season.

Tonight's game will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes (Spanish). The game can be heard on Yahoo Sports Radio 1560 AM and 850 AM (Spanish).

The Dynamo are 6-11-4 (22 points) and tied for eighth place in the Eastern Conference. Houston secured a 1-0 win over D.C. United last Sunday as Will Bruin scored in second-half stoppage time.

Last Sunday's win included the Dynamo debuts of U.S. national team defender DaMarcus Beasley and Honduras international midfielder Luis Garrido.

Sounders FC is 12-6-2 (38 points) and in second place in the Western Conference following a 1-0 defeat last Saturday at San Jose.

Seattle features U.S. men's national team captain Clint Dempsey, who leads the club with nine goals and has added three assists. Nigerian forward Obafemi Martins has added eight goals and six assists. The Sounders also feature midfielder Osvaldo Alonso and defenders Chad Marshall and DeAndre Yedlin, all named to the MLS All-Star team this season.

Tonight's game includes two of the most successful coaches in MLS history. Sounders FC head coach Sigi Schmid has 199 career MLS regular season wins, the most in league history. Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear is third with 134 wins.

Last year, the Dynamo won the only encounter with Seattle, a 3-1 triumph at BBVA Compass Stadium on Aug. 17.

Following tonight's game, the Dynamo host the Philadelphia Union on Friday, Aug. 15 at BBVA Compass Stadium.
