
New York Red Bulls Announce Renewal and Expansion of Exclusive Partnership with NSCAA

HARRISON, NJ (Dec. 10, 2013) - The New York Red Bulls and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced today a renewal and expansion of their partnership, making Red Bulls Academy Grassroots Program the official and exclusive partner of the NSCAA in New York and New Jersey.
"The New York Red Bulls believe that their contribution to the growth of soccer extends beyond the continued success of their professional team. Supporting coaching education at the youth and college levels are fundamental to the improvement of the game. In partnering with the largest coaches association in the USA and in the world, we are demonstrating our commitment to educating players of all genders and ages, whether they plan on playing in a youth club, high school, college, professionally, or simply for the love of the game," said Red Bulls General Manager J̮̩r̮̫me de Bontin.
About the partnership itself, de Bontin added, "Along with the Red Bulls, I have personally worked for many years with the NSCAA. We are proud to renew and expand our partnership with this premier organization. The combined soccer expertise of the Red Bulls player development program and the NSCAA will ensure that this will be a fruitful and long-lasting partnership that will benefit all players and coaches across the New York and New Jersey region."
NSCAA CEO Joe Cummings said of the extended partnership: "Our work with the New York Red Bulls has been and will continue to be the living implementation of the Association's core goals: Learn. Participate. Belong. Furthermore, the ability to cross-promote our respective soccer efforts is a unique aspect of this agreement and one we look forward to utilizing."
Through this partnership, Red Bulls Youth Training Programs will operate NSCAA Coaching Academy courses throughout the New York and New Jersey soccer communities. In addition, this continued partnership will provide soccer coaches at all levels with an opportunity to develop their coaching knowledge at easily accessible community locations. Finally, the Red Bulls will host special coaching courses during their MLS games at Red Bull Arena with the NSCAA.
