
New York Red Bulls and World Trade Center Team up for 2022 FIFA World Cup

HARRISON, N.J. - New York Red Bulls and the World Trade Center have teamed up to bring BULLevard activiations, freestylers, giveaways, and much more to the World Trade Center World Cup viewing parties in New York City, the club announced today.
"Our club looks forward to celebrating the 2022 FIFA World Cup with our passionate supporters and fans of the beautiful game," said Marc de Grandpre, General Manager, New York Red Bulls. "Soccer has the unique ability to bring communities together and we look forward to congregating at The Oculus and other local destinations to watch what will be the focus of the entire sporting world. Our excitement for the upcoming World Cup 2026 in North America is palpable and will serve as an extraordinary opportunity to continue growing the game."
The FIFA World Cup Viewing Events are a continuation of the Port Authority's ongoing partnership with New York Red Bulls to activate the World Trade Center campus with various community events which have included a Red Bulls Viewing Party in September 2021 and a Season Opener Launch event in March 2022.
The viewing parties will stream all games from December 3 to December 18 at Oculus Plaza and 2 WTC Plaza, located at Vesey and Fulton Street in Downtown Manhattan.
"We are excited to partner with the New York Red Bulls to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup at the World Trade Center Campus," said Port Authority Executive Director Rick Cotton. "For over a century, people have gathered to enjoy games of soccer and we are delighted to continue this tradition by screening the games here, continuing our efforts to make this campus a true community resource."
Below is the schedule of dates and times that the activations will be taking place.
Round of 16: December 3 to December 6 (10 a.m. ET & 2 p.m. ET)
Quarterfinals: December 9 & December 10 (10 a.m. ET & 2 p.m. ET)
Semifinals: December 13 & 14 (2 p.m. ET)
Third Place Match: December 17 (10 a.m. ET)
World Cup Final: December 18 (10 a.m. ET)
