HARRISON, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls and defender Hassan Ndam have mutually agreed to part ways. The club will not exercise the defender's option for the 2024 season, the club announced today.
"We want to thank Hassan for his effort and commitment this season for the club," said Head of Sport Jochen Schneider. "Hassan stepped up in big moments for the club this season and we wish him nothing but the best in his next endeavor."
Ndam, 25, made 19 appearances across all competitions for the club this season. He made 12 starts and was a part of seven clean sheets this season. Ndam played in four seasons with New York, where he made 19 MLS appearances and made 10 starts. After being selected in the 2018 MLS Expansion Draft by FC Cincinnati, he returned to the Red Bulls in 2022.
The Red Bulls will announce the rest of their end-of-year roster decisions at a later date.
