The November FIFA international window saw several Inter Miami CF players in action around the globe with their countries in 2026 World Cup qualifiers, 2024 UEFA Euro qualifiers, Concacaf Nations League, and international friendlies. Additionally, midfielder Santiago Morales, Inter Miami CF II defender Tyler Hall, and Inter Miami CF Academy defender Victor Fung were called up to compete in the 2023 U-17 FIFA World Cup this month.

With the last FIFA international window of the year in the books, let's do a roundup of how Inter Miami players fared around the world representing their national teams.

Lionel Messi - Argentina

Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi and Argentina fell 0-2 at home against Uruguay on Nov. 16 before registering a historic 0-1 win on the road over Brazil on Nov. 21, handing Brazil their first home loss in World Cup qualifiers in the country's history. Messi started both matches, playing the full 90 minutes against Uruguay and 78 against Brazil, to help La Albiceleste remain in the top spot in the Conmebol 2026 World Cup qualifiers standings.

Leonardo Campana - Ecuador

Leonardo Campana was also in action in South America for 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The towering striker and La Tri enjoyed a successful international window, earning an important point in a goalless draw on the road against Venezuela on Nov. 16, and topping Chile 1-0 at home on Nov. 21, with Campana entering both matchups as a second-half substitute. Ecuador climbed up the table and now sit fifth in the standings after the team's positive results this window.

Diego Gómez - Paraguay

Midfielder Diego Gómez and Paraguay also played two Conmebol 2026 World Cup qualifying fixtures. Gómez first featured in the team's starting XI on Nov. 16 as La Albirroja visited Chile for a scoreless draw, and then came on in the second half in a 0-1 loss at home against Colombia on Nov. 21. Paraguay currently occupy the seventh spot in Conmebol 2026 World Cup qualifiers standings ahead of the next round of qualifiers in September 2024.

David Ruiz - Honduras

Homegrown midfielder David Ruiz and Honduras played out a pair of thrilling matchups against Mexico in the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League. Ruiz entered the game as a second-half substitute in the first leg as Honduras claimed a 2-0 win at home on Nov. 17, but did not feature in the second leg on Nov. 21 as Mexico earned a 2-0 win to tie the aggregate before winning in penalties to advance to the next round.

Kamal Miller - Canada

Center back Kamal Miller continued being a stalwart for his country's backline, featuring in the full 180 minutes in the two legs against Jamaica in the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals. Canada first earned a 1-2 win on the road in Kingston on Nov. 18 before Jamaica claimed an impressive 2-3 win in Canada to tie the aggregate score and knockout Miller and Canada on away goals.

Robert Taylor - Finland

Versatile attacker Robert Taylor and Finland, meanwhile, closed out their 2024 UEFA Euro qualifying campaign on a high note with back to back wins. Taylor first came on in the second half to help the team close out a convincing 4-0 home win against Northern Ireland on Nov. 17, before starting and playing the full 90 minutes in the 1-2 win on the road over San Marino on Nov. 20. Despite claiming the six points in the final two matchdays of the 2024 UEFA Euro qualifiers, Finland failed to secure a direct spot for the continental competition as they finished third in their group, but still have a chance to qualify through the Euro 2024 qualifying playoffs set to take place in March 2024.

Benjamin Cremaschi - United States U-23

Homegrown midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi was in action with the U.S. Men's Olympic team in San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain as the team continues preparing ahead of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. The team played two friendly matches this international window, with Cremaschi starting and opening the scoring with a header on Nov. 18 in a 1-1 draw against Iraq, and coming off the bench in the second half in a 0-1 loss against Morocco on Nov. 21.

Tyler Hall and Santiago Morales - United States U-17

Recently signed 16-year-old Homegrown midfielder Morales and 17-year-old Inter Miami II defender Hall featured for the U.S. MYNT at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Indonesia during the November international window. Hall started against South Korea and Burkina Faso and came off the bench in the game against France in the group stage, while Morales featured as a second-half substitute in the second group stage fixture, to help the team secure a spot in the round of 16 of the competition. Morales then featured as a substitute in the knockout round fixture, with the team falling against Germany in the round.

Victor Fung - Canada U-17

Inter Miami CF Academy defender Victor Fung also had the valuable experience of representing his country at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Indonesia. The 16-year-old came onto the pitch as a substitute in the team's first match of the competition against Spain before Canada was eliminated in the group stage.
