
New York City FC Loan Saad Abdul-Salaam to Phoenix Rising

New York, N.Y. - Saad Abdul-Salaam has joined Phoenix Rising of the USL on loan for the remainder of the 2018 season. NYCFC retain the right to recall Abdul-Salaam at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.
The defender has made 4 appearances and registered 2 assists to this point in NYCFC's MLS campaign.
Prior to joining NYCFC for the 2018 season, Saad played 64 times in three seasons for Sporting KC and was named the team's "Defensive Player of the Year" in 2016 after completing six assists before being traded in December 2017.
