WILFRIED NANCY
"We are in a tough spot right now with our schedule. But I'm not going to complain that we're playing in the Champions League. We have to keep our heads down and do the work. We have two games left before the break and then we will put in the work to restart things positively. When you look at the goals conceded, what frustrates me is that they are largely avoidable goals. This year I am asking the players to have more awareness in the penalty box."
ZACHARY BRAULT-GUILLARD
"We have to rekindle our motivation. There are highs and lows in a season. We started the season with some lows. Now it's up to us to rise to the occasion like we did last season at times. We have a good group, but we don't all know each other yet. It is still new. There were a lot of departures last year and some additions. So we have to give it time and hope to do better. We have our next game at home and then Atlanta. We'll have to do some good things at home. It will be up to us to raise our level like we did in the return leg against Santos Laguna."
ALISTAIR JOHNSTON
"Right now the bounces are not going our way but you have to create our own luck. I don't think we have been good enough. We have to earn the right to play our way. Some games we go into, we think we'll be able to play a beautiful style of soccer right from the start. But that isn't how this league works. You have to earn the right to win and compete. You shoot yourself in the foot when you concede the kinds of goals we conceded."
