New York Battles Orlando City SC in Nationally Televised Match on Sunday Afternoon

HARRISON, N.J. -The New York Red Bulls (3-2-2, 11 pts.) will battle Orlando City SC (4-2-2, 14 pts.) in a nationally televised match on Sunday, April 24. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET with coverage on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 2:30 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 3 p.m. ET.
This will be the 16th overall regular season meeting between New York and Orlando, with the Red Bulls holding the advantage in the series with a 8-5-2 mark. The Red Bulls have won the last two matches, including a 2-1 win at Exploria Stadium on July 3, 2021. Orlando are currently second place in the Eastern Conference and are most recently coming off a 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the third round of the Open Cup.
The Red Bulls are coming off a 2-1 win against Hartford Athletic in the Open Cup, which moved the club to 4-0-0 on the road across all competitions this season. In MLS regular season play, New York has only allowed two goals in three road matches, which is the fourth lowest in franchise history. The Red Bulls are 7-1-1 in their last nine MLS road matches and have outscored their opponents, 17 to 5, in those matches.
New York midfielder Lewis Morgan recorded his first career Open Cup goal in his first appearance in the tournament against Hartford Athletic. Morgan has now scored four goals across all competitions, which leads the club, and all four have come on the road. In his career with Inter Miami CF, Morgan has registered one assist in seven appearances against Orlando.
Following Sunday's match, New York heads to Solider Field to battle Chicago Fire FC on Saturday, April 30. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on MSG, MSG GO and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
