Club de Foot Montreal News Release
PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania - CF Montréal will face the Philadelphia Union this Saturday at Subaru Park (TVA Sports, TSN, CTV, 91.9 Sports, TSN 690). Kickoff is scheduled for 3pm.
Montreal will be looking to extend its five-game unbeaten run (including a 1-1 draw with Cruz Azul) against the Eastern Conference leaders and avenge the 2-1 loss suffered on matchday 2 against the Union in the Club's home opener at Olympic Stadium on March 5. With the three points secured at Red Bull Arena on April 9, Montreal tied a club record with a second straight road win for the fifth time in its MLS history.
Meanwhile, the hosts suffered their first loss of the season last Saturday, falling 2-1 to Toronto FC at BMO Field. In seven fixtures, the Union has never scored or conceded more than two goals in a single game. During that stretch, Jamaican goalkeeper Andre Blake, who has featured in every match so far, has conceded only four times. With a 5-1-1 record, Philadelphia holds the best record in the league, on par with LAFC.
Montreal's record at Subaru Park stands at 2-4-6. Frequently tightly contested encounters, four of the five last meetings between the clubs have been decided by one-goal margins.
