New TV Show to Highlight Mohegan Wolves and Arena Football

NEW LONDON, Conn. (April 11, 2003) – The Mohegan Wolves are howling at the gates! The exciting sport of Arena Football, with its smaller indoor field, offense-friendly rules, relentless action, and high scores, is breaking into the New England television market with the debut of "The Wolves Locker Room Show," on Pax-26 in Connecticut and on Pax-69 in Rhode Island, this Sunday, April 13, at 10:00 a.m.

On each Sunday morning episode of the show, popular local radio host Lee Elci and Wolves Coach Mark Stoute will analyze and show highlights of the best plays of the most recent home game of the Mohegan Wolves. They will also preview the Wolves upcoming home game with key matchups, strengths and weaknesses, and keys to victory.

Another part of the show will feature Stoute, based on actual plays, demonstrating how the different rules of Arena Football make for much faster and more exciting game play. The first show will review Mohegan's season-opening home game (April 5) and preview the team's next home game against the Albany Conquest on Friday, April 18, at Mohegan Sun Arena.

"We're thrilled that fans will now get to see extensive game highlights on TV," said Wolves Vice President Angelo Mazzella. "We hope it will build fan interest and loyalty to come out to the games for a family day with the kids.
