Mohegan Wolves News Release
NEW LONDON, Conn. (September 15, 2003) â A number of Mohegan Wolves (arenafootball2) staff members and Lady Wolves dancers will be walking with a purpose this Sunday at Harkness Park in Waterford at the American Diabetes Association's America's Walk for Diabetes. The walk is an annual fundraising event aimed at helping support the Association's mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
This year's event is scheduled to begin at around 9:30 a.m.
The Wolves are taking this cause to heart. Every member of their front office staff, from Vice President Angelo Mazzella on down, is currently accepting contributions from family members, friends and business partners. Together the team hopes to raise more than $500 to the effort. Anyone interested in helping the Wolves contribute to the American Diabetes Association cause can send their donations to the Mohegan Wolves office at:
Mohegan Wolves
Attn: ADA Walk for Diabetes
311 State Street
New London, CT 06320
All donations need to be submitted to the Wolves by Friday, Sept. 19.
