
New Season Ticket Campaign Offers Fans Chance for One Shot to 'Steel Your Seats' for Free

GENEVA, ILLINOIS - The Chicago Steel are offering an opportunity for fans who purchase a new season ticket plan for the 2022-2023 season to take one shot from center ice to win their tickets for free with the team's new 'Steel Your Seats' campaign.
Starting at just $50 for a 5-game plan and ranging to a full season of Chicago Steel hockey, each new season ticket account will receive one shot from center ice at Fox Valley Ice Arena to try and shoot the puck through the center hole to win the ticket plan completely free of charge.
"On top of the many benefits that our season ticket holders receive, this certainly adds a new wrinkle," said Steel President Dan Lehv. "We're rolling the dice a bit here, but we love the excitement that it will bring to our push to expand our season ticket family in a fun and entertaining way."

The Steel will schedule "Steel Your Seats" shots from center ice during remaining 2021-2022 regular season and playoff home game dates as well as non-gamedays. Fans that have their shot from on or behind the center ice line cross completely through the center slot in the Steel prize board (which measures 12'W x 3'H) will receive their 2022-2023 season ticket plan free of charge.
The 'Steel Your Seats' promotion is for new full season ticket and mini-plan accounts as well as any 2021-2022 Steel mini-plan holder who upgrades to full season tickets for the 2022-2023 season.
Current Steel full season and mini-plan holders will receive separate incentives courtesy of Rookie's All-American Pub and Grill for renewing their tickets for the 2022-2023 season by the early bird deadline of April 22, 2022.
Since the 2019-2020 season, no other independent junior hockey team in the world has produced more NHL Draft selections than the Chicago Steel. Over the last two NHL Drafts, four Steel alumni have been selected in the First Round of the including number 1 overall selection in 2021, defenseman Owen Power who played for the Steel from 2018-2020 and was selected by the Buffalo Sabres.
The Steel captured the 2021 Clark Cup, the second time in the last four postseasons the Steel have been crowned champions of the league and have won the last two Anderson Cups as the top regular-season club in the United States Hockey League.
Single-game tickets for remaining 2021-2022 home games start at just $10 and are available in person at the Steel Box Office at Fox Valley Ice Arena, by phone at 855-51-STEEL and online at chicagosteelhockeyteam.com. The Steel offer single-game ticket discounts for kids 12 and under and military.
