New Mexico United News Release
New Mexico United is excited to announce that midfielder Daniel Bruce will remain in the Black & Yellow for at least two more seasons. Bruce has signed a new two-year contract with New Mexico United ahead of the 2023 USL Championship season. That contract makes him a United player through the end of 2024. The 26-year-old joined United before their inaugural 2019 season, and is the club's all-time appearances leader.
Bruce has scored seven goals in his time with New Mexico, including two during the 2022 season. He is a constant spark for the club, often driving down the wing, fighting for possession and winning fouls for the Black & Yellow. Since 2019, Bruce has become a fan favorite, and visitors to Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park can expect a chorus of "Bruuuuuuce" every time he touches the ball.
Bruce grew up in Warrington, England. In his four years with United, he has made a club-high 97 appearances and has played more than 4,600 minutes in all competitions.
