New Mexico Ice Wolves to Wear Special Jerseys on Friday, April 15 in Support of Displaced Ukrainians

(Albuquerque, NM) - The New Mexico Ice Wolves® are proud to announce the debut of their special support Ukraine jerseys with those game-worn jerseys to be auctioned with 100% of the auction price going to the Feed My Starving Children organization to provide meals to Ukrainians impacted by the war. The DASH Auction for the NM Ice Wolves special support Ukraine jerseys begins Monday, April 11, 2022 with all buyers in the auction receiving a 501c3 receipt for their contribution. The special jerseys were created by K1 Sportswear and the team will wear them on Friday, April 15 when the NM Ice Wolves host the Odessa Jackalopes at Outpost Ice Arenas in Albuquerque, NM. Feed My Starving Children has been providing meals across the globe for more than 30 years and currently delivers more than one million meals across the globe each day. The organization has been helping to feed Ukrainian people in need for the past eight years, so already has the contacts and infrastructure in place to provide meals in Ukraine and in neighboring countries that have welcomed millions of refugees.

"These meals are critically needed now and for the foreseeable future according to everyone involved in helping the Ukrainian people," said Andy Carr, Vice President of Feed My Starving Children. "The generous support of the New Mexico Ice Wolves and people of New Mexico is appreciated more than mere words can express."

The April 15 home game against South Division rival Odessa Jackalopes at Outpost Ice Arenas in Albuquerque, NM is one of the final regular season home games in a historic season for the NM Ice Wolves. The team recently clinched its first NAHL playoff berth in franchise history along with recording the most wins in team history.
