
New England Selects Zach Goodrich with 17th Overall Pick in 2019 NLL Draft

PHILADELPHIA, PA. - With the 17th overall pick in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft, the New England Black Wolves selected Zach Goodrich from Towson University.
Goodrich joins the Black Wolves following a decorated career with the Towson Tigers. The 6-2 midfielder was named First-Team USILA All-American and was Towson's first-ever two-time Division I USILA All-American while serving as the Tiger's 2019 Co-captain. He was the first three-time captain in program history.
A native of Stevensville, Maryland Goodrich notched 65 caused turnovers in his career, which ranks tied fourth in Towson history.
This past summer, Goodrich played in 15 games for the Boston Bombers (MLL) scooping up 28 ground balls and causing 14 turnovers.
Goodrich was the second selection of the night for the Black Wolves, who selected Andrew Kew third overall to start the night. A native of Oakville, Ontario Kew amassed 259 goals and 75 assists at Tampa. He also recorded 91 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers. For four consecutive years, Kew led the team in goals scored.
Earlier this week, the Black Wolves exchanged their 24th overall pick, Ryan Fournier and Miles Jones to the New York Riptide for Jordan Durston.
The Black Wolves also have selections 54, 61, 70 and 83.
Tickets for the 2019-20 season are on sale now and start at $19 per game. The Black Wolves home opener is set for Friday, Dec. 27 vs. the New York Riptide at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by visiting blackwolves.com or calling 844-LAX-WOLF.
