
New England Revolution Youth Development Highlights: May 5, 2021

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - All four New England Revolution Academy teams took the field over the weekend to continue the MLS NEXT spring season, with the Under-19s, Under-17s, and Under-15s all earning victories. Both the U-17s and U-15s earned road wins at BW Gottschee on Saturday, 3-1 and 2-1, respectively. The Under-14s dropped a 3-0 result at BW Gottschee on Saturday afternoon. Additionally, the U-19s returned to action for the first time in three weeks with a 3-1 win over Black Rock FC in an exhibition match at Gillette Stadium on Friday.
The U-19, U-17, U-15, and U-14 Revolution Academy teams will all hit the road next weekend, returning to New York to face Met Oval on Saturday, May 8. Additionally, Revolution II returns to action on May 12 hosting Union Omaha at 5:00 p.m. ET (ESPN+).

Revolution MLS NEXT Highlights
The U-19s returned to action with a 3-1 win with goals from Triton Beauvois (2003 - Malden, Mass.), Aidan Farwell (2002 - Randolph, Mass.), and Ronilson Mendes (2002 - Brockton, Mass.).
Midfielder Noel Buck (2005 - Arlington, Mass.) joined up with the U-17s over the weekend after beginning the 2021 season with Revolution II. He scored a goal and added two assists in his MLS NEXT spring debut. Buck, who has played over 100 professional minutes in two games at the USL League One level, provided helpers for Jack Panayotou (2004 - Cambridge, Mass.) and Matiwos Rumley (2005 - Hebron, Conn.).
Forwards Enzo Goncalves (2006 - Hyannis, Mass.) and Angel Ortez (2006 - Revere, Mass.) rediscovered their scoring touch, each tallying a goal in the U-15s' victory. Ortez's goal is his seventh in 10 games since joining the program, while Goncalves found the back of the net for a team-leading ninth time in the 2020-21 campaign.
