The league-leading Revolution have secured a bye through Round One of the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs and will begin their postseason campaign in the Eastern Conference Semifinal round on a date to be determined. The Revs will host the winner of the first-round matchup between the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds in the Eastern Conference. If New England advances, the Eastern Conference Final will be held at Gillette Stadium on either December 4 or December 5. MLS Cup is slated for Saturday, December 11 (3:00 p.m. ET - ABC, UniMás, TUDN) and will be hosted by the top-seeded team in the final.
The Revolution's Pay-as-We-Play playoff ticket packages, which include the MLS Cup final, offer savings up to 27 percent off box office prices. The New England Revolution, in search of the club's first Supporters' Shield and MLS Cup titles with five games to play in the regular season, are nearing the end of a historic campaign that is currently on pace to break MLS records for total points, points per game, winning percentage, and more. The Revolution will finish the 2021 campaign atop the Eastern Conference standings for the third time in their 26-year history, setting new club marks for points, wins, and goals along the way.
With homefield advantage secured, the Revs will look to carry one of the league's all-time great home seasons into the playoffs. New England is 11-1-2 at Gillette Stadium this season, including six wins in the last eight games at home. One more win in Foxborough would tie the Revs' single-season record of 12 (2017). New England's .857 home-winning percentage - with three home games remaining - is currently tied for sixth best in league annals.
The Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs will feature the top seven teams from each conference in a single-elimination format. The top-seeded teams in each conference receive a bye through Round One.
