
New England Revolution Loan Ryan Spaulding to Tampa Bay Rowdies

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution have loaned defender Ryan Spaulding to the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the USL Championship. Spaulding will remain on loan with the Rowdies through the remainder of the 2023 USL Championship season.
Spaulding made seven appearances, including three starts, for the Revolution during the 2022 Major League Soccer season. The 24-year-old outside back registered his MLS debut with a full 90-minute performance on March 12, 2022 against Real Salt Lake. The Cary, North Carolina native signed to New England's first team prior to the 2022 season after developing with Revolution II for two seasons. Spaulding joined Revolution II as part of the club's inaugural roster in USL League One in 2020. The defender recorded 53 appearances for Revolution II, netting four goals. Prior to joining Revolution II, Spaulding's professional career included stints with North Carolina FC U23 (2017), French club Stade Briochin (2018-2019), and North Carolina FC (2019). Spaulding played two seasons of collegiate soccer at UNC Charlotte in 2016 and 2017.
New England welcomes Sporting Kansas City to Gillette Stadium on Saturday night. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and is available to WATCH FREEon Apple TV. Saturday's match can also be heard on the radio on 98.5 The Sports Hub, with Brad Feldman and Charlie Davies calling the action, and on 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA in Portuguese.
