
New England Revolution Head Coach Bruce Arena Issued Fine and Suspension

NEW YORK - On July 25, 2020, following New England Revolution's match against the Philadelphia Union in the MLS is Back Tournament, New England Revolution head coach Bruce Arena was issued a red card for confrontational conduct and unacceptable and offensive language directed towards match officials.
MLS today announced that MLS Commissioner Don Garber has suspended Arena for an additional two games, three games total, and issued a $15,000 fine for his unacceptable conduct and use of inappropriate language.
Arena served the first game of his suspension, for the red card, on August 20, during New England's match against Philadelphia Union. He will serve the additional two-match suspension during New England's matches on August 25 against D.C. United and August 29 against the New York Red Bulls.
