FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution Academy was back in action last weekend, as the U-19s and U-14s traveled to East Providence, R.I. to take on Oakwood Soccer Club in MLS NEXT action. The U-15s (Group Play E) and U-17s (Group Play H) began competition at the 2022 Generation adidas Cup in Frisco, Texas, playing alongside 80 professional academies from 10 countries at the Toyota Soccer Center at Toyota Stadium.
The U-17s went 1-1-1 in group play at the GA Cup. Forward Isaie Louis (2005 - Everett, Mass.) scored twice in the tournament while forward Olger Escobar (2006 - Lynn, Mass.) also notched a goal in Sunday's game vs. FC Cincinnati to cement the 2-0 victory. The U-17s now move into the Showcase stage to close out the tournament.
The U-15s went 0-1-2 at the GA Cup, going 1-1 in the penalty kick shootout at the end of both of their draws. Goal scorers in the tournament included forwards Tito Nichols (2007 - Milton, Mass.) with two and Raphael Alves (2007 - Framingham, Mass.) with one. The team now competes in the Showcase stage for the remainder of the week, facing off against Flamengo (BRA), Chicago Fire FC, and Orlando City SC.
Forward Brandonn Bueno (2004 - Framingham, Mass.) and midfielder Marcos Ojea Quintana (2004 - Riverside, Conn.) both scored to lead the U-19s to a 2-1 victory over Oakwood Soccer Club. The U-14s continued their strong spring season play with a 4-0 win over Oakwood. Forward Mesud Ramic (2008 - Weare, N.H.) scored twice while midfielder Camilo Moreno Bustamente (2008 - Peabody, Mass.) and forward Luka Hislop (2007 - Concord, Mass.) each notched one goal in the match.

Academy graduate Justin Rennicks scored the first MLS goal of his career as he logged his second straight start for the Revolution against Inter Miami CF on April 9.
Academy alum Damian Rivera made his second MLS appearance in the first team's game at Inter Miami CF, subbing in for Rennicks in the 83rd minute.
Forwards Isaie Louis (2005 - Everett, Mass.) and Olger Escobar (2006 - Lynn, Mass.) each tallied one goal to lead the U-17s to a 2-0 victory over FC Cincinnati.
Forward Tito Nichols (2007 - Milton, Mass.) scored his first goal in the GA Cup campaign on Sunday to secure the 1-1 draw vs. Charlotte FC.
Forward Mesud Ramic (2008 - Weare, N.H.) scored two of the U-14s four goals on Sunday, securing the 4-0 win over Oakwood Soccer Club.
