WINNIPEG, MB - The Labour Day Classic in Regina may be sold out, but supporters of the Winnipeg Football Club do not need to go far to watch the game with their fellow Blue Bombers fans.

The organization will host the annual Never Alone Social presented by the Winnipeg Free Press on Sunday, Aug. 31, at Canad Inns Stadium, where fans can watch the Blue Bombers-Roughriders game on the Jumbotron at the club's home park. Gates open to the public Sunday at 12:30 p.m., with kickoff set for 2 p.m.

A pre-game concert by Wailin Jailer, prize draws and a silent auction are just some of the other attractions at the Social. There will also be a kid zone in the south end-zone.

The event is a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the Never Alone Foundation. Fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to watch the TSN telecast.

"The Never Alone Social is a fantastic opportunity for Blue Bomber fans to unite and watch the annual Labour Day Classic in a great environment, while building excitement for next week's Canwest Banjo Bowl here in Winnipeg," said Jerry Maslowsky, vice-president of marketing for the Blue Bombers.

Season ticket holders may exchange their vouchers that they received with their season tickets for free entry into the social. Tickets may also be purchased for $10 from Ticketmaster online at www.ticketmaster.ca or by calling (204) 780-3333.
