North Carolina FC News Release
CARY, NC - North Carolina FC will hit the road once again to face the Chattanooga Red Wolves for the second time this season on Saturday, July 16 at 7:30 p.m. ET at CHI Memorial Stadium in Chattanooga, TN. The match will be available to stream on ESPN+.
Last Time Out
North Carolina FC shared the points with Union Omaha last Saturday following a hard-fought contest through the full 90 minutes. Jaden Servania collected his second goal of the season in the match, with Christian Lue Young adding the assist on Servania's goal. Noe Meza scored the equalizer for the visitors. Shak Adams made his NCFC debut in the 89th minute, having joined the roster last week on loan from the Charleston Battery.
"It was a great feeling being able to play for NCFC," Adams said of his debut. "Wish we could have come away with three points for my first game, but it was fun playing in front of the fans."
"An emphasis for us has been trying to find Jaden and Showkat in those spaces, in between lines for them, and obviously [tonight] both of them were able to get forward," said Head Coach John Bradford following the match. "Showkat had a shot that troubled [Union Omaha] early, and Jaden as well, and [Jaden] was finally able to get his goal, so I'm happy for him to finally get rewarded...I thought his overall performance was positive."

Players to Watch
North Carolina FC - #5 Jordan Skelton
Leading USL League One in completed passes with 942 and in clearances with 96, Skelton has appeared in all 14 of NCFC's matches this season, playing every minute of every match - the only player to achieve such a feat on the current roster. The Newcastle native has also twice been named to the USL League One Team of the Week, a consistent performer and vocal leader on the pitch. Saturday's match will require a complete performance from the back line, especially against the advances of Juan Galindrez, Moe Espinoza, and Rafael Mentzingen, a challenge that Skelton has frequently risen to throughout the season.
Chattanooga Red Wolves SC - #19 Juan Galindrez
Knotted at the second-greatest number of goals scored in USL League One with seven, Galindrez has averaged 98 minutes per goal across 11 appearances and 683 minutes of playing time. Prior to Chattanooga's most recent match against Tormenta FC, the forward recorded goals in four consecutive matches, cementing his status as a force to be reckoned with on the attack. The Red Wolves currently sit at ninth place in the table, and a win over NCFC could propel the squad into playoff contention, making three points a necessity for the Tennessee side.
Up Next: In their second consecutive road trip, North Carolina FC will travel to face South Georgia Tormenta FC on Saturday, July 23 at Erk Russell Athletic Park in Statesboro, GA at 7:30 p.m. ET. The match will be available to stream live on ESPN+.
