Texas Legends News Release
FRISCO, December 28, 2009 - NBA D-League Frisco announces an exciting chance for individuals to join the world of professional sports on Wednesday, December 30, 2009.
This job fair will provide applicants an opportunity to work for the NBA Development League franchise in Frisco. The team will play in November 2010. Donnie Nelson of the Dallas Mavericks, and Evan Wyly of Green Mountain Energy own the Frisco team which will be the minor league affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks.
"Our first job fair (hosted in September) was such a success that it makes all the sense in the world for us to open up that opportunity again as we have additional positions present themselves," Nelson commented. "The job fair in September resulted in multiple hires for our franchise - and with our new positions we continue to look for enthusiastic, high-energy, and motivated individuals. Just as our Head Coach (Nancy Lieberman) and President of Basketball Operations (Spud Webb) are from the surrounding area, we want to give the people of the Metroplex the first opportunity to apply for these positions. We continue to look at candidates and take resumes for all positions ranging from Assistant Coaches to Interns - and everything in-between - but the positions we are looking at in the short term are Ticket Account Executives."
Donnie Nelson and team executives will accept resumes from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Dr Pepper Arena located at 2601 Avenue of the Stars, Frisco, TX 75034.
Applicants not able to attend may email resumes to info@NBAdleagueFRISCO.com.
