WIZARDS TRADE WALTER SHARPE
The Dakota Wizards announced today that they have traded forward Walter Sharpe (6-9 250, Alabama-Birmingham) to the New Mexico Thunderbirds in exchange for a third round draft pick in the 20011 NBA D-League Draft. Sharpe was acquired by the Wizards on November 29th, 2010 in a trade with the Idaho Stampede. He appeared in 18 games (9 starts) with Dakota averaging 8.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

JamesOn Curry poured in 32 points to lead Springfield past Bakersfield. Jerry Smith came off the bench to score 21 for the Armor. Trey Johnson dropped 38 points for the Jam in the loss.
Blake Ahearn recorded a double-double with 26 points and 12 assists. Ivan Johnson scored 29 points, 20 of which came in the second half. The Mad Ants were led by Walker Russell who had 29 points.
Miami Heat assignee, Dexter Pittman tallied 20 points and 12 rebounds to help the Skyforce hold off the Thunderbirds.
The Legends registered a season-high 15 3-pointers, including seven from Justin Dentmon. Antonio Daniels and Joe Alexander both recorded double-doubles for Texas in the win.
Jerel McNeal hit a lay-up with 7.6 seconds remaining to extend the Vipers franchise-record winning streak to nine in a row.
All five Flash starters scored in double-digits to secure a victory over the Stampede. Pape Sy, Ronald Dupree and Tony Gaffney each scored 16 points for Utah.

31 players with NBA D-League experience competed in 10 NBA games last night, six as starters.
Cleveland's Ramon Sessions started and tallied 22 points, four rebounds and four assists in a loss to Milwaukee.
Phoenix's Marcin Gortat recorded a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Washington.
Washington's Andray Blatche started and scored 14 points to ago along with seven rebounds and five assists in a loss to Phoenix.
