2010 NBA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE PLAYOFFS TIP OFF WEDNESDAY APRIL 7 IN UTAH

The Eastern Conference Champion Iowa Energy, the top seed in the upcoming 2010 NBA D-League playoffs, selected the seventh seeded Utah Flash as their opponent in the first round of the 2010 NBA Development League playoffs, it was announced following a teleconference held with the League's eight playoff-bound teams. The teams will tip off the 2010 NBA D-League playoffs on Wednesday, April 7, when the Flash host the Energy at 9:00 p.m. ET at the McKay Event Center in the first game of the best-of-three series which will conclude at Iowa for games two and three, if necessary. For the second consecutive year, the top three seeds in the NBA D-League playoffs (the two conference champions, along with the wild card team with the best regular season record) had the opportunity to select their first round opponent among the four lowest seeded playoff teams.

CELTICS RECALL MARCUS LANDRY

The Boston Celtics announced that forward Marcus Landry has been recalled from the Maine Red Claws. Landry appeared in 13 games for the Red Claws and posted averages of 11.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 24.9 minutes per game.

Desmon Farmer led the Bighorns with a game-high 19 points. Cezary Trybanski and Yaroslav Korolev each had double-doubles with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 16 points, 10 rebounds respectively. Chris Davis came off the bench for 13 points, while DJ Strawberry dished out 11 assists Marcus Lewis came off the bench to lead six 66ers in double figures with 14 points. Latavious Williams finished with 12 points and 12 points to record his ninth double-double of the season. JaJuan Smith put up nine points, eight assts and eight rebounds to go along with four steals.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:

33 players with NBA D-League experience competed in eight NBA games last night, 10 as starters.

As a starter for Washington, Andray Blatche nearly notched a triple-double, finishing with 20 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds. Teammate Shaun Livingston, also a starter, added 16 points and eight assists.

Starting for New York, Bill Walker tallied 18 points and added five rebounds. Earl Barron added 10 points and six rebounds in his debut with the Knicks.
