FRIDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Friday's games

Trent Strickland scored 27 points and grabbed seven rebounds as the Rio Grande Valley Vipers defeated the Austin Toros 109-104. Alpha Bangura scored 23 points and collected four rebounds.

Malik Hairston, on assignment from the San Antonio Spurs, scored 28 points in 41 minutes. Four other Toros scored in double figures including 23 from Marcus Williams. Carldell Johnson added 17 and Charles Gaines collected a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Ezra Williams chipped in 10.

Will Conroy erupted for 29 points and David Noel added 21 as the Thunderbirds won for the ninth time in their last 10 games. Conroy, dished out 11 assists, while Jasper Johnson and David Monds combined for 24 rebounds.

Taj McCullough led Fort Wayne's offensive attack with 25 points, while Walker Russell recorded 23 and 13 assists. Chris Hunter posted 20 points.

Luke Jackson posted 26 points and Dwayne Jones recorded a double-double (25 and 13) as the Idaho Stampede cruised to a 129-111 win over the visiting Colorado 14ers. Jamaal Tatum added 23 points for the Stampede and Lance Allred finished with 19 points.

Trey Gilder led Colorado with 27 points and Eddie Gill contributed with 18. Dominique Coleman finished with a double-double, scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Ronald Dupree dropped in a game-high 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds, leading the Utah Flash to a 105-95 victory over the Tulsa 66ers. All five starters score in double figures. Dontell Jefferson dropped in 20 points for the Flash to go along with his eight assists, while b contributed 18 points. Utah Jazz assignee Kyrylo Fesenko scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Bennet Davis also recorded 10 points.

Ryan Humphrey led all Tulsa scorers with 27 points, including 19 first-half points. Derrick Dial added 15 points, while Gary Forbes and Moses Ehambe chipped in 19 and 14 points, respectively, off the 66ers bench. Jeremy Kelly dropped in 10 points.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:

23 players with D-League experience competed in nine NBA games last night, six as starters.

Brandon Bass tallied 18 points and six rebounds as Dallas defeated Detroit 112-91.

As a starter for Houston, Rafer Alston finished with 17 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Also starting for the Rockets, Von Wafer added 14 points.

Steve Novak notched 10 points in 23 minutes o action for the Los Angeles Clippers.
