Naturals to Host 'National Game of the Week' on July 9

SPRINGDALE, Ark. - Minor League Baseball announced today that the Northwest Arkansas Naturals game against the Frisco RoughRiders (Double-A Texas Rangers) at Arvest Ballpark on Thursday, July 9 at 7:05pm will be the 'National Game of the Week' and televised to a nationwide audience on CBS Sports Network.
This will be the second consecutive season that Minor League Baseball is partnering with CBS Sports Network. The 24-hour cable home of CBS Sports will air 10 marquee regular season games from late May through early August. The Northwest Arkansas Naturals will be featured twice this season, once at home against the aforementioned RoughRiders on Thursday, July 9 and once on the road at Tulsa on June 11 against the Drillers (Double-A Los Angeles Dodgers).
Arvest Ballpark will be one of 10 venues to host the national showcase. In total, 18 teams, six different leagues and 15 Major League Baseball affiliates will be featured on the Thursday night Minor League Baseball Game of the Week.
