Naturals encourage fans to attend series in Tulsa

TULSA, OK - The stage has been set for a spectacular weekend of baseball at Drillers Stadium in Tulsa. The Drillers and Naturals are locked in a two-team battle for the second-half title in the North Division of the Texas League. The winner will play Springfield in the best-of-five North Division Playoff Series. Currently, the Naturals possess a one-game lead on Tulsa, ensuring that the weekend slate of games in Tulsa between these two teams will have a determining factor in the post-season.

A special "Naturals section" has been reserved in Tulsa all weekend for Naturals fans to attend the series at Drillers Stadium and cheer on the Naturals as they seek to bring playoff baseball back to Arvest Ballpark. Naturals fans wishing to attend these games will be extended a special $8.50 ticket rate for box seats at Drillers Stadium. Call the Drillers' ticket office at (918) 744-5901 and request the Naturals Fan Section. This rate and seating section is available for all three games at Drillers Stadium this weekend.

As if the series didn't have enough intrigue because of the playoff race, it also happens to be the final regular season series for Drillers Stadium. The oldest facility currently in use by the Texas League, Drillers Stadium is completing its 29th season of professional baseball. Next season, the Drillers will play at ONEOK Field, a new downtown park that is being built in Tulsa's historic Greenwood District.

First pitch times in Tulsa this weekend are as follows: Saturday night at 7:05 P.M., Sunday evening at 6:05 P.M., and Monday evening at 7:05 P.M. On Saturday, the first 1,500 fans will receive replicas of Sutton Stadium, the original name for Drillers Stadium during its first two seasons. Following the game on Sunday, a Fireworks Spectacular will take place. It is being billed by the Drillers as the final and largest Fireworks show ever at Drillers Stadium. Drillers Stadium is centrally located in Tulsa at the corner of 15th Street and South Yale Avenue on EXPO Square. From Northwest Arkansas, take U.S. 412 heading west past Siloam Springs via the U.S. 412/Cherokee Turnpike and, once reaching the Tulsa city limits, follow signs to Interstate 244. Take the Yale Avenue exit and head south on Yale 1 1/2 miles to 15th Street. Drive time to Drillers Stadium ranges from 90 to 100 minutes from most points in Northwest Arkansas.
