CORPUS CHRISTI - Hooks Director of Ballpark Entertainment JD Davis announced Thursday that 2016 Whataburger Field National Anthem auditions have been scheduled for Saturday, March 19, from 9-11 a.m.
Performers should enter through the ballpark's main gates prepared to sing or play the full anthem without a backing track. They'll try out for one of 70 home dates during the upcoming season, which begins vs. Tulsa on Thursday, April 7.
"Our annual National Anthem auditions signal that baseball season is just around the corner, so this is an exciting time for us," Davis said. "It's great to see so much of the incredible talent the Coastal Bend has to offer in one setting."
