Omaha Lancers Forward Nathan Krusko

Ralston, NE - The Omaha Lancers, members of the United States Hockey League are proud to announce forward Nathan Krusko has committed to play NCAA Division I college hockey at Harvard University following his junior career.
"It's an honor and a privilege to commit to such a prestigious school both academically and athletically," said Krusko. "Harvard's reputation on and off the ice, along with their well-respected coaching staff makes them a contender every season.
Drafted by the Lancers in May, the Alpharetta, GA native scored twice this past Saturday during the preseason finale in a 5-3 victory over the Lincoln Stars. Krusko picked up goals at 16:34 of the first period and 4:07 into the final period. His second of the night came while on the power play and held up to be the game-winner.
"On behalf of the Lancers, we want to congratulate Nathan on his well-deserved commitment" said Lancers head coach & general manager Brian Kaufman. "Nathan showed his energy and skill during the preseason, which will make him be a great fit at Harvard University."
Before coming to Omaha, Krusko spent the 2014-2015 season with the Minnesota Magicians of the North American Hockey League where he scored 12 goals and added 19 assists for 31 points in 58 games played. He also added a playoff goal for the Magicians in their three-game series.
Krusko becomes the 15th player currently on the Lancers' roster to commit to a Division I school. "I'm excited to be a part of the Lancers," Krusko finished. "I can't wait to get the season going this Friday."
The Omaha Lancers begin the regular season this upcoming Friday night on the road against the Tri-City Storm inside the Viaero Event Center.
