From the Notes

Chapman into the Record Book: Third baseman Matt Chapman drilled three home runs last night to become the seventh player in Sounds history to hit three in a single game. He joins Russell Branyan (5/16/08 vs. New Orleans), Ryan Braun (4/14/07 at New Orleans), Craig Wilson (6/6/00 vs. Tucson), Darnell Coles (4/10/92 at Denver), Dan Pasqua (9/3/84 vs. Memphis) and Steve Balboni (5/1/80 at Knoxville).

4x4: Chapman became the 10th Sounds player with 4+ hits in a game this year and the 13th player with 4+ RBI in a game. He joins Andrew Lambo (6/15 vs. Memphis), Bruce Maxwell (7/16 @ El Paso) and Arismendy Alcantara (7/25 vs. Omaha) as the only Sounds players to have at least four hits and at least four RBI in a game this year.

The Clean Up Man: Matt Olson is excelling for the Sounds when he's in the clean up spot. In games he has started in the four spot, Nashville is 23-9. In those 32 games, he's hitting .288 (36-for-125) with 20 runs, 16 RBI, 9 doubles, 6 home runs and 18 walks.

That's Offensive: The Sounds have not put up this many runs (712, 4th in PCL) and home runs (146, 2nd) in a season since 2011 when they had 746 and 153. Since 2005, the highest the Sounds finished in runs scored was 9th in 2005 (738) and 2009 (671). The highest rank they've had in home runs was 3rd when they hit 159 in 2007.
