NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Soccer Club announced today that multi-platinum-selling singer and songwriter Jordan Davis will be the Halftime Show performer at the club's match against Austin FC at Nissan Stadium on Sunday, May 23. Sunday's live performance will be Davis' first following his upcoming EP release, "Buy Dirt," on Friday, May 21.
As part of the Halftime Show performance, Davis will play a combination of tracks from his new EP, "Buy Dirt," and his debut album, "Home State," including his latest Top 10 single, "Almost Maybes," the double Platinum-selling "Singles You Up," and more.
In addition to Davis' performance, Nashville SC will welcome Country music hitmaker Michael Ray, who will perform the National Anthem during the pregame ceremony. In four short years, Ray has built an impressive foundation with three No. 1 songs: "Kiss You in the Morning," "Think a Little Less," and "One That Got Away," and five Gold-certified singles with the addition of "Get to You" and "Her World or Mine," and current single "Whiskey And Rain" continues to climb the charts at Country Radio. ÃÂ
Topping off the night will be Kevin Griffin, the Better Than Ezra front-man, award-winning songwriter, and Pilgrimage Festival co-founder, who will perform the Gibson Guitar Riff right before kickoff. Ezra will join the list of celebrated artists who throughout the past year have increased the energy at Nissan Stadium right before the kickoff whistle.
