Nashville SC's Hany Mukhtar to Take on Sporting KC's Wan Kuzain in EA Sports FIFA 20 on Saturday

NASHVILLE - Nashville SC is taking its originally scheduled match against Sporting Kansas City to the virtual pitch this Saturday with a pair of players set to go head-to-head.

Midfielder Hany Mukhtar will represent Nashville SC in a best-of-three EA Sports FIFA clash, presented by Taco Bell, with Sporting KC midfielder Wan Kuzain this Saturday, Apr. 11 at 2 p.m. CT live on Twitch, Twitter and Facebook. It's the first virtual clash between the two sides, and Nashville SC's second overall this year after the club's eMLS player Doolsta took down Columbus Crew SC in March.

The Basics

Competitors: Hany Mukhtar (NSH) vs. Wan Kuzain (SKC)

Venue: EA Sports FIFA 20

Time: 2 p.m. CT

Format

Mukhtar and Kuzain will face off in a best-of-three showdown with the squads rotating as the home and away sides. They will be using rosters built using the FIFA Ultimate Team tools. Both squads will wear their respective club's jerseys, as Nashville SC's jersey was recently added to the Ultimate Team mode.

Roster Rules

Both players will build their respective club's roster in FIFA Ultimate Team.

Tale of the Tape

Mukhtar is Nashville SC's first Designated Player. In addition to his playmaking abilities on the pitch, he's also an avid FIFA player. On a recent Instagram Live Q&A, teammate Jalil Anibaba said Mukhtar was the best FIFA player on the team. For Sporting KC, Kuzain is a product of the SKC Academy that made his MLS debut for the club during the 2018 season. He scored his first professional goal on June 3, 2018 against Minnesota United. On March 28, Kuzain took on Real Salt Lake's David Ochoa in a live FIFA match and secured a late 4-3 win.
