Nashville SC News Release
Nashville SC is helping bring the community together for our teachers.
Last Friday, club representatives joined forces with PENCIL and Metro Nashville Public Schools to deliver school supplies and other essential goods to teachers at three local schools ahead of the upcoming school year. PENCIL is a nonprofit organization that helps link community resources to support local students through Metro Schools.
"Our partnerships with Nashville Soccer Club, with Ingram [Charities] and other community partners make a difference here at Napier," said Dr. Watechia Lawless, Principal of Napier Elementary. "We are a school that represents two high-needs communities and we can't do what we do without their support."
Nashville SC, which announced its partnership with PENCIL in April, has also supported Nashville students during the COVID-19 pandemic with the help of Ingram Charities by producing videos through PENCIL's ProudlyPENCIL Virtual Learning Series and providing supplies that facilitate at-home learning.
