
Nailers to Unveil New Jerseys on Wednesday

WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, will be holding a special event at WesBanco Arena on Wednesday, September 7th at 3:30 p.m., which will be open for everyone to attend.
The highlight of the event will be the unveiling of new uniforms for the 2016-17 season. Wheeling will be wearing three new sets of uniforms during its 25th season - a primary white jersey, a primary dark jersey, and an alternate jersey. The white and dark jerseys will be unveiled on Wednesday, with the alternate jersey being unveiled at a later date.
The jerseys will be modeled by Nailers Head Coach Jeff Christian and Nailers Assistant Coach Riley Armstrong. Christian and Armstrong will be available to speak with the media and also to mingle with fans. This will be Armstrong's first public appearance since arriving in Wheeling.
Additionally, Christian will announce the latest player signing by the Nailers. The player that will be announced is a returning member of the 2016 Eastern Conference Championship squad, and has been a fan favorite during his tenure with the club.
The 25th season of professional hockey in Wheeling begins on October 15th, when the Nailers play host to the Brampton Beast at 7:05.
